Scan Data
When you scan product ingredients, we process the images you upload to extract text using optical character recognition (OCR). The extracted ingredient lists and analysis results may be stored in your scan history if you have an active subscription.
Usage Information
We automatically collect certain information about your device and how you interact with our service, including:
- Device type and operating system
- Browser type

- Pages visited and features used
- Date and time of access
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve our ingredient scanning service

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase for data storage and authentication, and Stripe for payment processing. Both services maintain high security standards and compliance certifications.
Images uploaded for scanning are processed in real-time and are not permanently stored on our servers. Only the extracted text and analysis results are retained in your scan history.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: We use third-party services (Supabase, Stripe, cloud providers) to operate our service. These providers have access to your information only to perform specific tasks on our behalf.
